You may register online for almost all Advanced Lab and Residents/Fellows Courses after logging in to AANA. Click on "All Lab Courses" on top of the navigation bar, between the "Register" and "Industry" tabs, and select the course type you are interested in. After clicking on the course you wish to attend, there will be a blue "Register" button. If the course is sold out, you will see "Registration is closed" or "Registration is unavailable" text below the "Register" button. What is the waiting list process? To be placed on the wait list, please email us at education@aana.org. I’ve registered for a course but did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do? It is probable that your email address was entered incorrectly or your spam filter blocked the email. To verify AANA has received your registration, please email us at info@aana.org. How do I know whether I am registered for a course? If you have completed the online registration, you should receive a confirmation immediately. Am I an AANA Member? Please email us at membership@aana.org to check your status. What is the refund/cancellation policy for a course? Refunds are subject to a non-refundable $500.00 processing fee, and must be made four weeks prior to the start of the course. Cancellations must be made four weeks prior to a course. All refunds and cancellations must be written and sent to the AANA office. Can I transfer to another course? You may switch courses within the same year, space permitting, by notifying the AANA office in writing at least four weeks prior to the course. A $200.00 transfer fee will apply. How do I request a letter of invitation? You will need to register for the course and pay for it prior to receiving a letter of invitation. Once you have registered for the course, please email us at info@aana.org. Will there be bilingual instructors at each course? Instructors vary from course to course. It is in the best interest of the registrant to speak and understand English. Can I attend a course if I’m not an AANA member? Yes, AANA Courses are available to all Orthopaedic Surgeons. Is housing included in the course registration fee? No, housing is not included in the registration fee. For your convenience, AANA has a hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rosemont Chicago O'Hare for each course. View the housing information for full details. What airport should I fly into? Please fly into O'Hare International Airport (ORD). View the travel information for full details. How far is the Hampton Inn from the OLC? The Hampton Inn & Suites is about 100 meters from the OLC. What is the course attire? The attire is casual, mainly scrubs being in and out of the lab. Can Residents attend courses other than the Foundations in Arthroscopy courses? Yes, please email us at education@aana.org for more information. What are the different AANA Membership categories? To claim your CME's, sign in to your AANA account. From there you will be able to download a PDF of your CME history.
