Returning for its seventh year, AANA’s Annual Fellows and Chief Residents Course is designed for PGY 3-5 Orthopaedic Residents, Arthroscopy Fellows and Early Careerists to refine their motor skills and learn from experienced faculty. This two-day advanced skills course features extensive cadaver lab time for hands-on arthroscopic surgical skills development as well as relevant updates on current techniques. Lab sessions are enhanced with interactive demonstrations and discussions, including six different case panels on an array of topics including practice management.

One of the most unique features of this year's course is its design. Each participant will select one joint to focus on for the cadaver lab and can choose their own adventure by being able to attend multiple live panel sessions encompassing content from each joint. Coupled with cutting-edge virtual simulators and a diagnostic/interventional ultrasound dry lab session, nowhere else can Chief Residents and Arthroscopy Fellows gain real-world best practices for a successful career in minimally invasive surgery.

Residency and fellowship programs continue to choose this course time and time again for the breadth of curriculum coupled with the faculty’s intellectual insight. All instructors are carefully selected for their dedication to teaching, depth of knowledge, surgical skills and expertise as lab instructors.

Purposely timed mid-scholastic year, this course offers an exclusive chance to review prior skills while previewing new ideas and techniques as attendees head toward completion of this phase of their education and move closer to their own practice.
