When: March 15-16, 2024
Where: The Orthopaedic Learning Center (OLC) - Rosemont, IL 60018
Returning for its seventh year, AANA’s Annual Fellows and Chief Residents Course is designed for PGY5 Orthopaedic Residents and Arthroscopy Fellows to refine their motor skills and learn from experienced faculty. Attendees will have 1 ½ days to practice and develop their surgical abilities while forging lifelong relationships. Each lab session will provide time for discussion following faculty-led demonstrations.
Attendees can select one joint to focus on for didactics and cadaver lab as well as attend general instructional sessions incorporating shoulder, hip and knee joints. Coupled with cutting-edge virtual simulators and a diagnostic/interventional ultrasound dry lab session, nowhere else can Chief Residents and Arthroscopy Fellows gain real-world best practices for a successful career in minimally invasive surgery.
Residency and fellowship programs continue to choose this course time and time again for the breadth of curriculum coupled with the faculty’s intellectual insight. All instructors are carefully selected for their dedication to teaching, depth of knowledge, surgical skills and expertise as lab instructors.
Purposely timed mid-scholastic year, this course offers an exclusive chance to review prior skills while previewing new ideas and techniques as attendees head toward completion of this phase of their education and move closer to their own practice.
Scholarships available! The AANA Education Foundation is offering four scholarships to attend this course.
Application deadline is December 15, 2023.
