1404 - AANA Elbow Arthroscopy

Join our comprehensive course designed to elevate your surgical techniques in both basic and advanced elbow procedures. Gain the skills and knowledge you need to enhance your practice with hands-on training and guidance from leading faculty.

Tailor the course to your objectives by choosing which elbow procedures you want to focus your lab time on. Hands-on surgical procedures to choose from include:

  • Diagnostic scope, including loose bodies and instability assessment
  • Lateral epicondylar release/decortication +/- open repair
  • UCL repair & brace/reconstruction
  • LUCL repair & brace/reconstruction
  • ORIF radial head, coronoid
  • Osteocapsular arthroplasty
  • Ulnar nerve release/transposition
  • Distal biceps anatomy/repair
  • OCD scope and open treatment

Customize your course by attending didactics from both shoulder and elbow panel sessions. With two courses happening at the same time, you have the unique opportunity to attend didactics related to either shoulder such as instability or elbow such as UCL injuries of the throwing elbow.

*Prior to the event, participants will complete a pre-course questionnaire to ensure tailored instruction, guaranteeing that individual learning objectives are met effectively. Availability is limited based on equipment and faculty.

AANA has determined the need for this live educational activity based on identifying professional practice gaps, previous course evaluations and the AANA Self-Assessment Examination. The educational content of this activity was based upon current issues and topics provided by AANA Planning Committees and Membership.

Continuing Medical Education/Credit Designation

The Arthroscopy Association of North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Arthroscopy Association of North America designates this live activity for a maximum of TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity may also help fulfill the Maintenance of Certification credit requirements mandated by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

This course is being held at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, IL.

Please fly into O'Hare International Airport. A shuttle to the Hampton Inn and Suites picks up every 45 minutes from the Bus/Shuttle Center. Follow the signs from baggage claim.

For your convenience AANA has reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rosemont Chicago O’Hare (9480 W. Higgins Road, Rosemont, IL 60018). The room rate is $139.00 per night plus tax (subject to change). Reservations can be made up to four weeks prior to the course.
